Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her showbiz career at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young as the age of 16. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. This film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra was associated with numerous notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Her other roles include being juror at each of the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
